SMTC Tournaments
We host a tournament about every couple of months, ranging from relaxed social events to more competitive play. Details and sign-ups are announced in the newsletter as each tournament approaches.
Social tournaments
These are designed to be welcoming and fun, with lots of mixing and a great community vibe:
- Hello Tournament (Jan/Feb) — a friendly start to the year
- Spring Social (Mar/Apr)
- Turkey Shoot (Nov)
Competitive tournaments
For players looking for more structured competition. Some events may require an official rating or comparable level assessment:
- Club Championships (Sep/Oct)
- SMTC Fall Open — open to non-members
Anniversary Tournament
A celebration of the club's history, held periodically. All skill levels welcome.
